And. Here. We. Go.

Sixty-three players will be attending the Tampa Bay Lightning’s training camp that begins on Thursday, September 14. The Lightning have also revealed the schedule for the first five days of training camp, including when the participants will be on the ice, have media availability, and do workouts.

The 24 players that played in the Rookie Tournament in Nashville over the weekend have arrived back in Tampa and will all be in attendance on Thursday. This includes the Lightning’s first three draft picks from 2017: Callen Foote, Alexey Lipanov, and Alexander Volkov. Eight of the ten draft picks from 2016 will be there, as well as six of the nine picks from 2015.

As promised, captain Steven Stamkos will be at camp, fully healthy.

There will be six training camp invitees who will be hoping to impress enough to earn a contract with the organization. Forwards Shane Conacher, Kevin Hancock, and Kevin Lynch (already on an AHL contract with Syracuse), defenseman Reid McNeil (also on a contract with the Crunch), and goaltenders Joseph Raaymakers, and Nicola Riopel (the final AHL-contracted player) are all going to be working for recognition, either from the Lightning or another organization.

The full list of participants can be found in a Google Sheet that I have linked to here.

UPDATE: The players have been split up into 3 training squads: Team Andreychuk, Team Lecavalier, and Team St. Louis. Here’s what the groups look like:
