After two years of visa issues, Tampa Bay Lightning 6th rounder from 2016, Oleg Sosunov, has arrived in Tampa and could make the move to the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL. “This year will be a big year for Sosunov’s development. The Lightning have already shown a commitment to him by giving him an entry level contract. It’s possible that that was necessary to get him to leave Russia and come to what should be a more favorable development league for him.” [Raw Charge]
Are you tired of hearing stats about Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov being other-worldly yet?

College free agent forward Alex Kerfoot has signed an entry-level contract with the Colorado Avalanche. “Although statistically listed as a bit undersized – the 23-year-old center stands at just 5-foot-10 and 175 lbs – Kerfoot can best be described as a late bloomer and incredibly hard worker.” [Mile High Hockey]
