The Bucs lead 10-0 after the first quarter.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lead the Chicago Bears 10-0 after one quarter that was filled with bad Bears and good Bucs.

Mostly, the Bears just gave the ball away. A bad throw by Mike Glennon, behind his target and straight into the waiting hands of Kwon Alexander, ended their first drive. And their second drive couldn’t even get started: Tarik Cohen tried to pick up the ball on a punt return in a crowd of Bucs coverage players, who promptly ripped the ball out.

Jameis Winston didn’t waste any time finding Mike Evans in the end zone with a beautiful throw and gave the Bucs a 10-0 lead, having led them to a field goal on his first drive of the game. Winston looked good if a little rusty with his throws in the first quarter, and Mike Evans was leading everyone: three catches for 39 yards and a touchdown so far.
