The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got wide receiver Mike Evans back at practice, after he entered the concussion protocol following Thursday night’s game. His return to practice suggests that Evans will definitely play on Sunday. Jameis Winston also practiced, after suffering a minor knee injury late in Thursday’s game.

The Bucs didn’t get anyone else back today, though, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Running backs Doug Martin and Jacquizz Rodgers have still not returned to practice, while wide receiver Russell Shepard, center Joe Hawley and guard Kevin Pamphile (concussion) remained out as well.

The Bucs are apparently promoting Russell Hansbrough to the active roster, while placing Antone Smith on injured reserve. The unending running back treadmill continues.

Hawley’s likely to play on Sunday, but everyone else’s participation has to be in doubt. In other words: the Bucs’ injury issues continue to get worse, and every time we think it’s about to get better, they rack up a bunch of innovative new injuries.
