Buccaneers likely to miss six players against Packers
Doug Martin will probably be out with a concussion.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to be missing a lot of players against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, if things don’t change quickly. The Bucs had six players missing practice today, and none of them appear likely to play on Sunday.
Three of those players are dealing with concussions and will have to be cleared to have a chance of playing. That’s safety T.J. Ward, running back Doug Martin and defensive end Robert Ayers, all starters normally.
In slightly, moderately good news, though, wide receiver DeSean Jackson participated in practice today after missing Wednesday’s, while guard Evan Smith was cleared from his concussion. Oh, and Jameis Winston is still on track to return to the starting job—though it’ll be hard for him to compensate for all those injuries.
