Lightning in the Tampa Bay area
When we talk about Lighting in Tampa is not just about the Hockey team, Tampa has several places to go and delight your eyes with the illuminated and enormous Christmas trees, so you have lots of options to keep you entertain from parks to popular shops that make free events for everyone.
This year is not the exception as some of those events had been already announced and for to you mark it on your busy calendar to plan ahead of time to attend.
One of my favorites from last year was at “Wiregrass shops” a mall with an open concept that had events every weekend since the day they install the decorations. It is kid and pet friendly and almost every time they have free live music to make you stay until sunset. Location: 28211 Paseo Drive Suite 100, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543
Next place with amazing decorations is International plaza, nearby to the airport, a mall with amazing stores to choose from. This plaza as the majority around the city have a big Santa Claus house so kids can come over and take a picture, but the interesting part is the decoration that changes every year making it more interesting to see every time. Location: 2223 N Westshore Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607
In case that you are looking for an outside event Hyde Park Village known by hosting the annual Enchanted Tree Lighting Festival, this year is going to be as benefit of the boys and girls of the club of Tampa Bay. It is a friendly event with food trucks, face painting and the best of all admission is free. Location: 744 S Village Cir, Tampa, FL 33606
Saint Petersburg also offer a spectacular event located at the North Straub Park just next to the water of the bay, with food venues and blanket sitting available, event is kid friendly and also this year is offering onstage entertainment. Location: 400 Bayshore DR. NE. ST Petersburg, Florida 33701
