Things to do in Tampa this weekend
We are almost at the end of the year. Just two more weeks until we say good bay to our 2017 to welcome with excitement the happy new year of 2018, but before we start with the Christmas fever and the new year resolutions, lest take a look of the events that are meant to happen this weekend, so we can start with the right foot having fun as much as possible.
The Amelie arena in the Tampa Bay area is one of the important places of the city hosting lots of different and iconic artist all year around, like this Friday, December 15th Katy Perry is coming to wish you a nice happy Christmas you Witnesses her performance. Check the Amelie arena website to keep you updated with other concerts or event that may be interesting for you.
If a parade on the water is something that got your attention, the Treasure Island Lighted boat parade might be something you will want to see, a parade with illuminated beautiful boats that also offers a pool party on the boats as wells as visits with Santa, amazing food and live entertaining, and the best of all is you will be giving happiness as you attend the event, since the requirement to enter is by donating a toy for charity for those kids in need of Christmas presents. The event starts at 6:20 p.m. at the Club at Treasure Island.
Hot balloons are happening this weekend at Balloonpalooza a colorful carnival with balloons along with food and live entertainment like the USF Chamber choir, don’t miss the opportunity to meet Santa and write letters for him right there at the event.
The ice skating is still open, for those who haven’t been there yet at the Winter Village in the Tampa Bay, get cooler and wear those fluffy jackets and gloves you got last winter season.
As you can notice the Tampa Bay area is always full of things to do, there is no reason to stay at home unless you want to.
